Historical Astor Place & St. Mark’s Evening Tour

We will start our evening at the “The Cube” also know as the Alamo at the center of Astor Place. Astor Place was named after one of the richest men of his time and survivor of the Titanic, John Astor. Just a few blocks a way is the main cultural street of St. Marks Place. This was named after the St. Mark’s Church, the second oldest church in NYC.  St Marks was vibrant during the era of “Sex drugs & Rock and Roll” in the 70’s. It was the hot spot for sexy night clubs, The Electric Circus, punk rockers and home to many famous artists.
We will explore the famous streets of the St. Marks Historic District and have some great fun, laughter and meet new friends. This tour will last 2 hours. We look forward to touring with you!
